Description of Syndiniaceae

Dinoflagellates, trophont is multinucleated, typically without a fixed shape or a cavity; uninucleate biflagellated cells which form by division of the multinucleate form have a helical cingulum; parasites within crustacea, appendicularia, radiolaria, and even fish.
