Cirsium palustre (Marsh Thistle) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Silver-bordered Fritillary, Melissodes desponsus, Opisthorchis viverrini, and Scaeva pyrastri. Individuals can grow to 0.86 m.
