Euthamia occidentalis (Western Goldentop) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Western North America, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Sandhill Skipper, Hylephila phylaeus, Bat MERS-like coronavirus, and Lycaena hyllus. Individuals can grow to 6 feet.
