Range Description
This species was taken only in Fatu Hiva and Nuku Hiva within the Marquesas Islands, and Henderson Island and Ducie Atoll in the Pitcairn Group. Although regions adjoining these islands have not been thoroughly sampled, it has not been encountered elsewhere in the Tuamotu Archipelago even though the area has been explored (Randall pers. comm. in Gomon 2006).
