Uintatherium anceps is a species of large rhino-like mammal that lived during the Eocene of North America (~43-44 mya). It belongs to the now extinct order, Dinocerata and the family Uintatheriidae. Its skull was ornamented with a number of blunt, bony horns and it had a pair of saber teeth in its upper jaw. It was about the size of a modern rhino and was an herbivore.
