Range Description

The species is known only from the foothills and the crest of the Cordillera Oriental of Colombia, the disjunct Serrania de la Macarena, and from western and northern Venezuela. The known range of this species in Venezuela includes the foothills of the Serrania de Perija, the lowlands of the western Maracaibo Basin, the Cordillera de Merida, and the Cordillera de la Costa (Voss and de Silva, 2001). It has an altitudinal range of 54 to 2,600 m asl.
