Brief Summary
The Largest of the Cuban Bats
Of the many bat species in Cuba, this is the largest. The Cubans call it the fisherman (pescador), in that it preys on fish found in lakes and rivers. The pescador catches its meal while in flight. The bat lives in areas where there is an abundance of limestone or in caves.
