Range Description

This species occurs throughout Oaxaca and Veracruz (Mexico) to Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela, Guyana, and French Guiana (Simmons, 2005). Also occurs in northern and western Brazil (Tavares pers. comm.). Occurs up to 1,000 m elevation (Molinari pers. comm.) in the Andes. From Mexico to Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela and the Guianas and Amazonian Brazil (Last record - Tavares pers com). There is a record from Chiapas, Mexico (Reid pers. comm.).
