Gyrinophilus
Gyrinophilus, commonly referred to as Spring salamanders, is a genus of salamanders in the Plethodontidae family, endemic to the Appalachian mountains of the eastern USA and Canada. Their habitat is under rocks in cold, clear springs and streams in forested areas.
