Physical Description

Morphology

In Leptomithrax the three marginal orbit segments are crowded together so that when the eye is pressed backwards the eye-stalk is concealed and the cornea reaches to the postorbital spine. The postorbital segment closely approximated to (drawn near to) the median element in the dorsal margin of the orbit and cupped to receive and conceal much of the eye when pressed back. The wrist is without ridges, and is often granulous. (Richardson, 1949)
