Range Description

Inga jinicuil is widespread from Mexico to Costa Rica and also found on the Pacific coast of Ecuador. The native distribution of this taxon has been hard to determine as I. jinicuil has been widely cultivated and distributed by humans. Collections have yet to be made of this taxon in either Panama or Belize, but it is possible that the taxon does occur there (Pennington 1997).
