Daubentonia
Daubentonia, the only genus in the family Daubentoniidae, contains the living aye-aye (Daubentonia madagascariensis) of Madagascar and its extinct relative the giant aye-aye (Daubentonia robusta). It is the sister grouping to all other lemurs (Lemuriformes) and has previously been classified in its own infraorder, Chiromyiformes.
