Comments: Only two specimens from Arizona and one from New Mexico in University of New Mexico Herbarium; however, estimated that there would be at least 100 occurrences.

Reasons: Known from northern and central Arizona and New Mexico. Few collections have been made, but the species is apparently fairly common. Described as locally common in the pine forests near Flagstaff.
