Range Description

Occurs in several mountainous areas: in the Alps from the Ligurian Alps and French Alps to Tirol (Brenner Pass) and the Dolomites, the Apuan Alps, north and mid-Apennines. Found at altitudes of 1,100-2,500 m. This is a European endemic species.
