Virola sebifera (Virola) is a species of tree in the family Myristicaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to GoiáS, Amapá, Cerrado, Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Maranhao, Amazônia, Roraima, Acre (Brazil), Tocantins, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, South America, SãO Paulo, RondôNia, Mato Grosso, Mata Atlântica, and Pará. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 32.2 m.
