Main stem branched, creeping, giving rise to erect, branched, secondary stems. Foliage leaves lanceolate, 3-5 × 0.3-0.6 mm, patent to suberect; apex with a fine hair-like point up to 3 mm. Fertile parts arranged in strobili borne on a slender, sparsely leafy, branched peduncle up to 22 cm. Sporophylls up to 3 × 2 mm, finely lacerate.
