I shot this in Western Oregon, south end of the Willamette Valley. It's a historic working hazelnut/filbert orchard with an adjoining gallery forest on the Willamette River. Rob :o)

You're welcome Bob. I love the EOL concept and E. O. Wilson is a huge inspiration for me... :o)

Thanks Eli. I'll get my videos formatted correctly. I may just set up a separate folder at my Youtube channel for EOL videos. Love the Google Earth video and photos. Rob :o)

Thanks a lot Cyndy. I'll mess around with it today and see what I can do. I'm still exploring around EOL and trying to get the hang of things. Rob :o)

Hi Robert, just a sample of a YouTube video with a taxon entry in the description section: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWxGuLLEywg&feature=youtu.be Thanks.

I've now subscribed http://www.youtube.com/user/EncyclopediaOfLife to Robert Mutch's channel. As soon as Robert adds the taxon name after the video description just like this: [taxonomy:binomial=Sciurus griseus], that video should appear in EOL.org

Robert, thanks for your offer! We are just putting the finishing touches on bringing in video from YouTube. Try the following steps: Step 1: Set the license of the video(s) to "Creative Commons Attribution license (reuse allowed)". Step 2: In the description section, add the taxon name after the description just like this: [taxonomy:binomial=Sciurus griseus] Step 3: We'll subscribe to your YouTube channel so that our software system can automatically find and use the videos that you choose to share with us. That way if you have other videos you just need to follow steps 1 and 2 and in a day or two the video will show up on EOL!

I have video of a Western Gray Squirrel posted at my Youtube channel. I believe EOL takes submissions through it's Vimeo Channel? What is the best method for submitting video? http://youtu.be/yEe7Q2siSTE
