In the forum thread where this was discussed (http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=16060) the confidence of the identification was very marginal between auriceps and intermedia. This isn't confident enough for me to say without reasonable doubt that this is auriceps so am marking it Untrusted+Hidden.

Although this was apparently identified by Peter Tschorsnig there seems to be some debate about it being Nowickia sp. - see here: http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=10942 I tend to agree that it looks more like Nowickia than Peleteria and, as we cannot see the face where "Peleteria bristles" would confirm either way, I am marking this Untrusted.
