This species is distributed in Jackson and Madison Counties, Alabama, northward on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau, Fentress County, Tennessee (Hobbs, Hobbs and Daniel 1977, Buhay and Crandall 2008), and extends west into Morgan County (North Carolina State Museum 2009). In addition, it is the most widespread of the Cumberlandian cave crayfish assemblage (K. Crandall pers. comm. 2009).Trusted
