Range Description

This species is found in the western Atlantic from Florida to Brazil, including the Caribbean Sea and the Lesser Antilles (Holthuis 1991, Dall'Occo et al. 2007). The type locality of this species is 16-20 miles south of Dry Tortuqas, Florida at a depth of 1,065 m (Holthuis 1991).
