Range Description

This species is currently known only from Farellones (33 32'S; 70 19'W), in central Chile, 35km north-east of Santiago, at 2,300-3,000m asl. The exact location of the type locality is uncertain, though it is somewhere on the western slopes of the Andes in central Chile.
