Diagnosis A medium-sized species of Eupsophus (34.0-42.5 mm snout-vent length), distinguished from its congeners by the dark purple do& pigmentation and bright yellow belly; upper part of the iris bronze-yellow in life and inner palmar tubercle prominent.
