Range Description

This species is known from two areas in southeastern Brazil, from the vicinity of the city of Rio de Janeiro and Teresópolis in Rio de Janeiro State, and from the general vicinity of Santa Teresa (in Espírito Santo State) in southeastern Brazil. It is presumably more widespread, at least in the intervening regions. It occurs from near sea level up to at least 800m asl, perhaps higher.
