Range Description

This species, an Australian endemic, was discovered in January 1984 (Mahony et al. 1984) and was found exclusively in undisturbed rainforest in Eungella National Park, mid-eastern Queensland at altitudes of 400-1,000m asl (Covacevich and McDonald 1993). The extent of occurrence of the species was less than 500km (map in McDonald 1990).
