DescriptionThe southeastern myotis occurs as far west as northeastern Texas and southwestern Oklahoma. Its preferred daytime roosts are caves with pools of water. It forages over water, at time of night when many species of aquatic insects emerge. It has not been found to migrate. This is the only myotis that has twins. Pups are born in late April and May.
