Annette Olson commented on an older version of "Egyptian Mongoose":
Although there is some good info in here, some of it comes from a popular site that takes its info from other popular sites, etc., and some problems have crept in. Mating is often April-May, the species is thought to occur in Namibia according to IUCN, and it is usually found in males overlapping home ranges with females, not in groups. Also, the listing of forests versus implies it prefers forests, when actually it prefers scrubland and grassland (though found in forests.) One of the references also is no longer online.
