Rulyrana adiazeta has the following characteristics: 1) vomerine dentition present, 2) bones green in life, 3) peritoneum is white and covers ½-2/3 of the abdomen, 4) color in life (dorsally) is green to light green, 5) rostrally rounded when viewed dorsally, truncated when viewed laterally, 6) dorsally covered with small spines (which may be a sexual dimorphism since males have many more than females), 7) folds absent from forearm and tarsal regions, 8) humeral spine absent.
Adult females reach 23.3-28.8mm SVL, males reach 22.5-24.7mm SVL, head is equally wide as body (head width is 32.8-37.2% SVL), distance from anterior portion of eye to nostril is 43.3-70.0% diameter of eye, eyes slightly visible around snout when viewed ventrally, diameter of eye is 25.3-34.2% SVL, when hind limbs adpressed anteriorly the ankle almost rests at the most anterior portion of the snout
