Range Description

This species was, until 2006, only found in one cave, but it has now expanded to a second cave in the Spavinaw Creek watershed (which also includes the Neosho River), north of Colcord, Delaware County, Oklahoma, USA (Graening et al. 2006). The caves are 10.8 km apart from each other (Graening et al. 2006). The extent of occurrence of this species has been estimated as less than 100 km2.
