Range Description

This species occurs in eastern and central Bolivia, western Paraguay (Gardner 2008) and northern Argentina (Giarla et al. 2010).

This species has been recently revised and split in to three species with clearly different distributions:T. pulchellusliving in the dry Chaco of Argentina south of Pilcomayo river;T. pusillusliving in the dry Chaco of northern Argentina north of the Pilcomayo river, western Paraguay and eastern Bolivia; andT. citellusliving in the Espinal habitats of Entre Ros and Corrientes provinces (Argentina; Martin 2008, Tetaet al.2009).
