@Tanya Dewey: We'll have to see if Roger can add the tags as part of the caption info. Something else for the To Do list.

Shane Parr commented on "Tamias striatus":
@Tanya Dewey: Yeah, a caption would be extremely useful here. Or even any way to explain why the photo is here.

Tanya Dewey commented on "Tamias striatus":
Captions must not be harvested by EOL, but that would be really useful.

Tanya Dewey commented on "Tamias striatus":
Yes, this is not a live animal image (see Phil's comment). The source database, the Animal Diversity Web, uses a tagging system for images so that this is easy to see what kind of image it is (scat, nest, eggs, etc.). EOL doesn't read the tags, so it just looks like it's supposed to be an image of a chipmunk.

Phil Myers commented on "Tamias striatus":
@Shane Parr: It's a burrow. Evidently ADW captions are not being transmitted with images? This one is labelled "well-camouflaged chipmunk burrow" on the ADW.

Is this scat? There is definitely no actual Chipmunk in this photo, I'm slightly confused as to why this is here.
