Range Description

Dasypus yepesi is currently known only from Jujuy and Salta provinces, Argentina (Vizcaíno 1995). Due to the lack of field studies, no more than nine localities are known. Its range may extend into other parts of the Gran Chaco of Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay (Abba et al. 2012). It probably occurs at altitudes between 450 and 1,800 m Asl.
