Australian snubfin dolphins, Orcaella heinsohni, are native to Australian and Oriental coastal waters surrounding the Sahul shelf. They are found as far north as Manokwari, Indonesia and as far south as the Brisbane River in Australia. Their range in Australia is from Broome in Western Australia to Brisbane in Queensland.
