Katja Schulz commented on "Acoela":
@plattis: The Ectocotyla image shows up on the Acoela page, because ITIS puts Ectocotylidae in Acoela. Can you point us to a source that provides the Jondelius et al. classification in Darwin Core format? That's what we would need to get these data featured as an alternative browsing classification on EOL.

plattis commented on "Acoela":
There is a comprehensive phylogeny and new classification of Acoela published in 2011. It should be reflected in the EOL taxonomy. Jondelius, U., Wallberg, A., Hooge, M., & Raikova, O. I. (2011). How the Worm Got its Pharynx: Phylogeny, Classification and Bayesian assessment of Character Evolution in Acoela. Systematic Biology, 60(6), 845–871. Oxford University Press.

Wolfgang Lorenz commented on "Pelophila lutheri (Westblad 1946)":
The genus name Pelophila Dörjes 1968 cannot be used as a valid name because it is pre-occupied by Pelophila Dejean 1821 which is used as a valid name in Arthropoda Insecta Coleoptera Carabidae, with two species: P.borealis and P. rudis.
