Range Description

A small tree which is confined to a few locations in the greatly diminished lowland coastal forests of Java. It is known from 10 collections, most of which are from the early 1900s; the last collection was made in 1960. Populations are found in Ujung Kulon National Park and on Nusa Kambangan, an island which is controlled by the Prison Service.
