Alpheus leviusculus is an Indo-West Pacific and Indian Ocean snapping shrimp that belongs to the Edwardsii species group within the genus Alpheus. It can be relatively common on mixed sandy-rocky bottoms with coral rubble and in dead coral, intertidal to shallow subtidal.
