Range Description

This newly described species is present in the border area of Costa Rica and Panama. It is reported by Wake et al. (2007) from "both Pacific and Atlantic slopes of the southern Cordillera de Talamanca, with localities ranging from the vicinity of Cerro Pando on the Costa Rica-Panama border in the west, to the Pacific slope in Chiriquí Province, Panama, as far east as the Boquete area, east of Volcán Barú". Animals have been recorded between 1,900 and 2,300m asl.
