Description of Amphistegina lessonii

Test lenticular, trochoid, mostly involute on the dorsal side in the adult, ventral side with supplementary chambers; sutures with a pronounced angle; wall calcareous, finely perforate; aperture small, ventral.  Eocene to Recent.
