Annette Olson commented on an older version of Marsh Mongoose:
As noted at the top by Wikipedia, there is a need for citations. Much of this comes from broad articles or books about mongooses, but is 1) not referenced, and 2) phrased questionably (i.e., "is a voracious carnivore, consuming any form of meat it can catch, as well as a wide variety of fruit") is almost certainly not true. The one clear reference concerning weight has most of the kg figures correct, but a few cannot be found in the text cited. Though most true, is still very iffy, and not good to promote unless give references.
