Litostome ciliates, somatic kinetid organization as for the class, but postciliary microtubules overlap longitudinally; alveoli not well developed, thick cortical layer may be present; toxicysts typically between transverse microtubules of oral dikinetids; with rhabdos; club-shaped cilia may be present in one or more kineties on dorsal surface.
