Description of Gonostomum

Oxytrichid ciliates, paroral and endoral parallel to each other with endoral anterior to paroral; some frontoventral cirri form a file along anterior right border of peristomal area; transverse cirri; transverse cirri; caudal cirri, posterior and dorsal.
