Description of Toxoplasma

Toxoplasmatine coccidia, tissue cysts spheroid, disseminated in many cell types but principally in central nervous system; cyst wall typically 0.45-0.8 µm thick; host cell nucleus outside meront wall; definitive hosts are cats and there are many intermediate hosts numerous; possibly only with T. gondii (Nicolle & Manceaux, 1908) Nicolle & Manceaux, 1909.
