Range Description

This species is known from the Falcón state of Venezuela, which has a total area of 28,777 km². Most specimens were found within 45 km² to the east and southeast of the city of Coro and this species is considered to be endemic to this area (P. Kornacker pers. comm.). However, it should be noted that no species of the genus were found in a collection from southeastern Falcón state (Wüster et al 2001).
