Fagonia glutinosa is a perennial, pale green herb that reaches up to 20-60 cm and densely covered with stipitate glands and adhering sand grains. Stems are prostrate, branched from the base, terete, and striate with stipular spines. Leaves are mostly trifoliolate, with oblong-ovate to rhombic leaflets with mucronate apex. Flowers are purplish-pink and the fruit is a pubescent capsule.
