Katja Schulz selected "Mycobacterium leprae" to show in Overview on "Mycobacterium leprae (Hansen 1880) Lehmann and Neumann 1896 (Approved Lists 1980)".

@Sami Losoi: I think Jen thought you were talking about a picture you had takne yourself. If the picture is already on Wikipedia, we may be able to add it to our regular Wikimedia Commons import. If you provide a link to the image, we'll take care of it. Thanks.

The picture is in Public Domain in Wikipedia: "This image is a work of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, part of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, taken or made as part of an employee's official duties. As a work of the U.S. federal government, the image is in the public domain." So does this mean that the licence is CCO for public domain? So can I upload it to Flickr, set the copyright CCO and tag it as needed?

@Sami Losoi: On either flickr or iNaturalist, be sure to select a compatible license, like CC-BY, so our harvest can detect and re-share your image to EOL.

@Sami Losoi: Hi, Sami! iNaturalist would be ideal if you have a meaningful location to report with the image- say, it's cultured from a sample you got out in nature. If not, the best option is our flickr group, which is awesome but could certainly use more bacteria! We harvest from wikimedia commons too, but that method is more complicated and less robust if everything isn't set up perfectly.

We need to import pictures from Wikipedia and other sources here.

What is the correct way to import a picture from the Wikipedia here? Is there any Import from Wikipedia -option? Or should I upload the picture first to iNaturalist and then link it here?

I think we need here more pictures which show the coccobacilli arranged in single cells and pairs. So less zoom.
