Range Description

Global distribution: widespread in Africa, southern Europe, Middle East, southern Asia, Indian Ocean Islands. In East Africa the species is common and widespread in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Malawi. Its occurrence in Burundi is assumed.
