BiologyAdults inhabit protected coastal areas often around docks or breakwaters (Ref. 7247). Often found in loose aggregations or widely scattered individuals near or along shorelines (Ref. 90102). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205).
