Range Description

This species is distributed across northern Europe and at high altitudes in other parts of the continent. It is not rare in some countries, especially in the Alps, Pyrenees and Scandinavia (Scheuchl 2000, Amiet et al. 2007). It is probably an endemic species to Europe.
