Range Description

This species ranges from southern Sudan and Ethiopia to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and into north-western parts of Tanzania. In Kenya, there are numerous records from both sides of the Rift Valley (Larsen 1991). This gives an EOO of far greater than 20,000 km2 across which the species is widespread and often common. This suggests that the AOO must also far exceed 2,000 km2.
