Acanthiophilus is a genus of tephritid or fruit flies in the family Tephritidae.[1][2][3]
Global distribution
Acanthiophilus is found in Europe on the Italian mainland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia. Outside of Europe, it can also be found in the Near East region. [4]
