Introduction:

The tribe Bactrini of the subfamily Olethreutinae is one of the less specious tribes of the Tortricidae. It includes 165 species in 9 genera. Most of the species are included in the genus Bactra, a highly derived genus of grass habitat adapted species. The group is economically important as weed controler although some species are local pests.
